What is solar reflectivity?
The phenomenon in which light is reflected of exterior cladding materials back into the environment is called Solar Reflectivity. We must remember that “sunlight” is comprised of diferent components, ultra violet (UV), visible light and infrared, refer to Figure 2.
What does solar energy reflectance mean?
Solar energy reflectance, back: the fraction of solar energy absorbed by a glass for solar radiation from the back side. Transmitted color: color of the light transmitted through a glass. General color rendering index: object color change between viewed in daylight and viewed in daylight transmitted through a glass.
What is the difference between solar energy reflectance and emissivity?
Solar energy reflectance, front: the fraction of solar energy reflected by the front side of a glass. Solar energy reflectance, back: the fraction of solar energy reflected by the back side of a glass. Emissivity, front: the radiative heat exchange ability of the front side of a glass.
