Rethinking Solar Panel Grounding: Bridging the Knowledge Gap

This forces installers to follow grounding practices that are not be suitable for solar energy, potentially impacting system efficiency and safety.
To move forward, regulations should be tailored to solar systems’ unique requirements. Engaging with solar experts and not bureaucrats to rethink grounding standards can help ensure safer, more efficient installations that reduce unnecessary costs and improve system performance.
Ultimately, by recognizing the differences between AC and DC systems, and understanding the expertise needed for solar installations, we can create a more effective, sustainable approach to solar energy.
